Position Overview:
The Wellhead Mechanical & Installation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical installation, maintenance, and commissioning of wellhead systems and pressure control equipment. This role requires strong leadership skills, in-depth technical knowledge, and hands-on experience with wellhead operations. The ideal candidate will ensure all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all field activities related to the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of wellhead systems, both conventional and multi-bowl (compact) types.

Ensure strict compliance with operational procedures specific to Cameroon, FMC, and Vetco Gray (Baker Hughes) well systems.

Demonstrate in detail a strong history of hands-on experience with wellhead equipment installation, pressure control systems, and component servicing.

Lead a team of wellhead technicians, ensuring adherence to safety standards, job plans, and client requirements on-site.

Prepare and validate job procedures, JSAs, and technical documentation to support all wellhead operations.

Serve as the primary field liaison between the company and client representatives, ensuring seamless communication and job execution.

Conduct quality assurance checks, oversee tool readiness, and ensure that all equipment used complies with OEM and regulatory standards.

Provide coaching, on-the-job training, and performance assessments for field personnel to foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience in wellhead installation and maintenance.

Must be conversant with OEM procedures from Cameroon, FMC, and Vetco Gray (Baker Hughes).

Proven hands-on experience with both conventional and compact (multi-bowl) wellhead systems and associated components.

Possession of valid certifications:

✅ Offshore Safety Permit (OSP)

✅ BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training)

✅ IWCF Level 3 or 4 (Well Control)

Academic qualification: B.Eng in Mechanical, Petroleum, or related Engineering discipline.
