Position: Wellhead Technician

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced individuals to join our team as Wellhead Engineer/Technicians. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects and further your career in a high-performance and safety-conscious environment.
Position Overview:
The Wellhead Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of wellhead equipment and pressure control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, field experience, and a proactive attitude towards safety and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
▪ Install, test, repair, and maintain wellhead equipment and related pressure control systems.
▪ Conduct inspections and diagnostics on equipment to identify operational issues.
▪ Support rig and non-rig operations including completions, workovers, and interventions.
▪ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures during all tasks.
▪ Collaborate with engineers, project leads, and field personnel to ensure smooth execution of jobs.
▪ Prepare detailed service reports, job hazard analyses (JHA), and necessary documentation.
▪ Participate in toolbox meetings, risk assessments, and safety audits.
▪ Ensure proper handling, transportation, and storage of wellhead equipment and tools.
▪ Maintain tools and equipment in optimal working condition.
▪ Provide training and mentorship to trainees as needed.
▪ Promote a culture of continuous improvement and HSE best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
▪ OND/HND/B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
▪ Minimum of 3 years hands-on field experience as a Wellhead Technician.
▪ Must have OSP and IWCF level 2 or 3
▪ Proficiency in the use and maintenance of various wellhead and X-mas tree equipment.
▪ Strong understanding of well pressure control systems and HSE compliance.
▪ Good communication and teamwork skills.
▪ Physical fitness for offshore/onshore fieldwork.
▪ Valid offshore certifications & permits (BOSIET, HUET, etc)will be an added advantage.
